"it's not Russia's Business" NO, it's Russia business, because many thousands of Russians live in this republics.
P.S. Don't outrage our president, since I and most of my compatriots are respecting him. He is a Patriot of Russia. He don't put his personal interests higher than interests of our nation.

Hi Che, the correct word is politics not politic. Your dispute with Konstantin is going nowhere so you can either change the subject or simply stop ranting.

Che, you are free to talk about politics. However, there are certain rules you have to stick to.

also, Che:

the singular possessive form of "Russia" is "Russia's"

This is important to know because as you'd written it, "Russias" means "more than one Russia".

The uber-capitalization of generally uncapitalized words we can chalk up to poetic license.

Che, there are a number of things you should consider when discussing a conflict. If you like, we can take it one step a time.
As for your English, please check the difference between offend and offence.

Let me know what you think.

Really not.

I just explained why your method of preparing to the English exam (that you intended to take quite soon) seemed to me a bit exotic.

Hi Tamara, I absolutely agree with you -- prepositions can be very tricky when you learn a second language. I sometimes find it difficult to distinguish between 'to' and 'for'. For example, is it "This is important for me." or "This is important to me."
Anyway, please look take a look at this:

I'm preparing to take the exam soon.
I'm preparing for the exam.

Hope this makes sense,
Torsten

I’m Russian, yes. And if you were a bit more attentive, you could have known that from my posts, as I mentioned it more than once – in particular, in both threads you’re so interested in (I mean this thread and "How would you describe your national identity?" :--))

But it doesn’t matter here, because – believe me or not – your opinion about Russian Government isn’t interesting to me.

But.
I actually love this forum's community and I really don’t like people (of any origin) who - instead of starting own thread, wherever it is, - prefer using someone else’s home (introduction) thread as their own personal political rostrum. And feel themselves absolutely fluent and comfortable doing that.

I can admit that this might be the 'right' behaviour for Che, but I’d note that I can’t even imagine anyone of my Georgian friends behaving like that. They are really nice and intelligent people.

Come on, CHE – start your thread in "Controversial topics" or in "What do you want to talk about?" Smile, say there all what you think about everything on the earth and who you personally hate - and then wait patiently for people who would want to share with you your personal opinion.
Why don’t you?

P.S. offence is a noun
offend is a verb, you needed
CHE GEVARA wrote:

As Torsten correctly suggested.
