ABBYY Lingvo or something like that?
Che, don't use them (Russian-English dictionaries) too much if you really want to improve your English.

Anyway, in this case you need other meaning of the word. This one:
Quote:
A topic thread (or simply "thread" when used in context) is a group of messages or postings to a newsgroup, mailing list, hypermail, blog or Internet forum, all relating to a single topic.

Are you a novice on the Internet? Smile

Hi prezbucky - I think you like big true american cars in old style, don't you? Cadillac Eldorado, Ford Mustang '64. It was a great time...
For your russian - american dictionary (new word):
Someone have told funny story. And you want to favour him. You say: "ЗачОт (ZachOt) !".All other Americans = Shocked It's one of the most popular word in Russian part of Internet.
