Hi

make no mistake

For example, Make no mistake about their intentions.
or
Make no mistake, these messages aren't sent by students bored with studies and looking to make a name for themselves.

Could you give some comments about the (use of the) expression, in comparison with don’t make a mistake?

Make no mistake (about it) #2 (permalink) Sun Nov 12, 2006 23:24 pm   Make no mistake (about it)

Make no mistake is a phrase used to mean 'there's no doubt about it', 'I'm absolutely certain about it'.

Don't make a mistake is used literally: don't make an error/don't do a wrong action.

Something like 'I'm/we're sure it's right. You will be wrong if you don't agree' ?
Hmm...

Thanks, Conchita.
