No, you didn't, but you did start off the thread by mentioning a presentation of facts and figures and that is a typical sort of presentation in a business environment. Wink

That's right. They're typical there (in the area of your specialization Wink )

But the reverse(-d?) statement ("any presentation that uses statistical charts is a business one") would be obviously wrong.
If we consider the whole totality of Presentations (Smile) that are currently made by using 'statistical figures'. Smile

Hi,

I sense a bit of ire here, at least from the smiley. But for the record who's talking about kindergarten 'audiences' or tupperware parties or sports commentaries? I think in all honesty, Amy those were your comments.

No, you've misinterpretted, Alan. I've deleted my previous post seeing as giving examples appears to be a bad idea for some reason. I won't be commenting further. I'm finished here.

Let's all sit down and have a beer.

(B) (B) (B)

I hope that it worked.

i'm stuck in Quick Reply mode ... is there a way to have a bar of Smilies available, along with font control?

each (B) should have been a mug of beer instead.

see, at work we're able to add images like a beer mug, cup of coffee, clock, etc....

When I typed "(B) (B) (B)", the aim was to present three mugs of beer. Fie!

I suppose the choice of word might depend on the 'blah blah blah':

'In 1981, the greatest number of Spaniards were believed to have come from Spain.'

'In 1981, the greatest number of raindrops falling on the plain came from Spain.'

Yankee said, "We have always been able to show a profit every year."

This is classic verbal diarrhea! 'We showed a profit every year.' is all one needs to say. (one word instead of six.)
