I've signed the agreement not to disclose the information from the iBT session, however this question, being much of curiosity, does not violate any rules, for even if I wanted - I would't be able to recall all of the stuff from that listening section!

so, do you know anything about "El Nino" and "La Nino"?

Hi Aereal

I know that El Ni?o and La Ni?a have something to do with ocean temperature (surface temperature) and currents. El Ni?o is connected with higher than usual temperatures and I think La Ni?a is the opposite. The temperature of the water has an effect on atmospheric conditions and causes abnormal weather -- abnormal enough that there can be severe weather-related problems. I think these two terms are only used in reference to the Pacific Ocean.

That's pretty much the extent of what I think I know without looking those terms up. ;)
