Why do people go to college?

When we plan about going to college, it’s a serious thing’s to do, because college life is different from high school, you have to be more serious if you want to graduate, and to be employed in a big and prestigious company. In my country most parents believes that having a son or daughter who graduated college will be the first step to save them from poverty, although going to college is not only the way to be successful, to earned money and become rich.

We know that college is expensive, but we spend time, money and give all the best we can to graduate of the chosen field, most parents work very hard to be able to send their children in a nice and prestigious university, and some working for a part time job and studying very hard to get scholarship, some are just for fun and meeting new friends, some says that they have to because their parents wants too, even people who had already a degree like nurses, doctors, and enjoying at the peak of their career still go to college and enroll in another course, they may be doing these because they want another challenges on their life and also if you have a college degree, any part of the world you want to live, you can have a better career and life you want to, and I think that it’s also a parent’s pride and honor that their children finished college, you can see it in their house the diploma are in framed hanging on their wall, and I believe that Education is important in every humans life, and also learning is a continues process, and if you want to be more productive you have to learned more, and that learning is the only thing in your life, that nobody can take it away from you. This is why people go to college.

Hi,

When we plan about going/PLAN TO GO to college, it’s a serious thing’s/THING to do, because college life is different from high school You have to be more serious if you want to graduate and to be employed in a big and prestigious company. In my country most parents believes/BELIEVE that having a son or daughter who graduated FROM college will be the first step to save them from poverty although going to college is not the ONLY way to be successful, to earned/EARN money and become rich.

We know that college is expensive, but we spend time, money and give all the best we can to graduate of the/IN A chosen field. Most parents work very hard to be able to send their children TO a nice and prestigious university, and some PEOPLE WORK IN a part time job and STUDY very hard to get A scholarship, some just GO for fun and TO MEET new friends, some SAY that they have to because their parents WANT THEM TO, even people who already HAVE a degree like nurses, doctors, and ARE enjoying the peak of their career still go to college and enrol in another course. They may be doing THIS because they want another challengE IN their life and also if you have a college degree, any part of the world you want to live IN, you can have a better career and THE life you want to FOLLOW and I think that it’s also a parent’s pride and honor that their children HAVE finished college. You can see it in their house. The diplomaS are hanging IN FRAMES on their wall, and I believe that education is important in every human BEING'S life, and also learning is a continuING process, and if you want to be more productive you have to LEARN more, and that learning is the only thing in your life that nobody can take away from you. This is why people go to college.

-------------------

Nowadays, many people have intention of attending college or university after graduating from high school for some major reasons.
First of all, they want to have new experiences by joining in new environment. Because of these differences between university and high school, many people choose this destination to challenge themselves. For students who are far away from home, they have to live on their own in a big city and start to earn money for living expenses. As a result, they become more independent and more active. Some part-time jobs students often do are tutoring, saling, marketing...The learning environment in university is more competitive than it in high school. It's a reason for them to try their best to study. Moreover, new friends and new relationship are also available experiences. Students have opportunities to meet people from other hometowns and culture. It brings them many useful lessons for real life. The second major reason for choosing university or college is career preparation. Everyone hopes they will get a good qualification and then a good job after graduating. Their preparations while being in university are really important. They will be taught many things that relate to their future jobs. Especially, two years of studying specialist subjects have strong effects on their future jobs. And in university, teachers also have responsible for preparing skills, knowledge, and spirit for students to work. The period of time in university play an important role in making decision for student's career. It's a prepared step for turning point in their life. The last reason, for many people, for attending university or college is simply for increasing their knowledge. There are many ways to become a learned person but among them, being trained in university is a helpful way. Because they will learn a large amount of knowledge there (despite obligation or not). They can learn by themselves or listening to the lectures in the class. Another advantage is the sources of information. Libraries in university are bigger than it in high school. Therefore, it has more reference books for them to broaden their mind. Nowadays, students have the habit of reading book and they are also aware of searching information on Internet or by other methods. They are also eager to enrich the new knowledge about the world around them such as science, art, society, economy, etc.
In short, there are many reasons for attending university or college. However, with only some above evidences I have given, further education in University is not a bad idea.
