Hello people. I am from Quebec, Canada. I'm a long time lurker. I've been learning English now for 5 years (my mother language is French). Love this board. It really helps. Evelynn

Hi Evelynn, welcome aboard! It's interesting to hear that you started to learn English five years ago. Could you please tell us more about the language situation in Quebec? I take it you went to a French speaking school and all your family and friends speak French? What about TV, radio, newspapers, etc. -- you probably have had access to English mass media?

Talk to you soon,
Torsten
