| Ahmadov, I would say that as long as you maintain the commas in the same place neither sentence is more correct than the other. |

Hi Zahir,
Good to see you on the forum again. In addition to Pond's explanation I'd like to point out that "thanks beforehand" is rather strange. Please take a look at this: Thanks before hand vs. thanks in advance http://www.english-test.net/forum/ftopic10963.html _________________ Test Of English for International Communication TOEIC Preparation & TOEIC Vocabulary |

Dear Torsten, how can I abandon such a great English teaching resource! Also, congratulations to you for developing your web site. You have done a great job!
In my early days on this web site I always worried about whether you would be able to maintain this excellent web site until the end, but now I see that my concerns were groundless. You not only maintain, but even enrich it.
I think I was some 1240th registered user but now you have 3041 registered users enjoying this web site. Moreover, you have developed lots of things both on the front page and within the forums.
Another exiting thing is to see Conchita, Yankee and other "old" users still visiting and making their contribution. In other words, this web site has become a place for English learners.
By the way, thank you very much for mentioning my mistake about thanking in advance. You cannot imagine how strongly I need such comments on my mistakes.
Thank you again.
PS: By the way, I sent a link to this web site to all my colleagues in the office today. You should expect another upsurge in the number of registered users soon. _________________ Learning is a sacred engagement. |

Yes Zahir, that's what Pond has said -- both your sentences are correct provided you keep the commas where they are. _________________ Test Of English for International Communication TOEIC Preparation & TOEIC Vocabulary |
