Hi

Die Domain "www.english-test.net" ist nicht verf?gbar.

Could anybody kindly translate it to me?

(As 'die' in English sounds quite scaring… :? :( )

Hi Tamara, nobody is dying here. Your sentence means that the domain is not available which is not true :-).

Hi Tamara

Just to make sure you are adequately reassured, the word 'die' only means 'the' (feminine and/or plural) in German. :D

Hi Slava

That "not available" message does pop up every now and then. I've gotten it, too (but not often).

Hi Amy, we really want to make sure the site is running 24/7 and that's why we'll have to make some more changes...

Hi Slava

Well, not too long after my last post I got the same message that Tamara got -- and I couldn't access the forum for quite a while. Was the forum offline for updating and changing for several hours this evening?

Hi Amy, unfortunately yes. The 'downtime' was not planned because technically our site can and must be online 100% of the time. Reality has proven otherwise but we now know how to avoid these situations in the future. It's very good that you give us feedback regarding any aspects of the site. Thanks a lot for that! Or shall I say cheers?
