Something which varies or changes all the time is variable: variable weather.

Something of various kinds or different is varied: you should eat a more varied diet; we have a varied response to our questionnaire.

Various means 'different' or 'several': we’ve met on various occasions; there are various ways of getting to London from here.

A variety is (being of) different sorts: his work has a lot of variety; we read books on a variety of subjects; for a variety of reasons, for several different reasons.

Hi Conchita , then is there any differrence of Varied and Various in your sample sentence ?
I feel it is the same if you say

you should eat a more varied diet; we have a varied response to our questionnaire.

you should eat a more various diet; we have a varied response to our questionnaire.

sorry I confused for these....

I think varied is used with a singular noun, but various with plural..isn't it?

Sultano is partly right: 'various' refers to several (different) things and is used with plural nouns, whereas 'varied' can describe both singular and plural nouns.
