Congratulations. This is after the fact, but:

What a beautiful day

and

Such a nice story

The modifier "a" is necessary in both phrases.

I just can't understand
sometimes people use such a ..... what a ..... quite a..
and sometimes these words without a
so I can't understand when I have to use -a and when don't have to...

Nope, I’m not much into soccer, I’m afraid, and what’s more, I’m a complete ignoramus where this sport is concerned. I occasionally try to let myself into the mood of the game when there’s an international encounter on TV, but it just doesn't spark a passion in me – I can’t remember having ever watched a whole match.

Hi Che
You must omit "a" only in case when a noun is plural or non-countable as in:

Ex.What beautiful pictures!
Ex.These are such interesting books!
Ex.Did you ever see such weather?

In addition (to add to your knowledge of corporate buzzwords -- look these up online):

TQM = Total Quality Management

---------
Process flowchart = A "map" of colored arrows/triangles used to visually show the steps in a process.

Example: Process for making a peanut butter & jelly sandwich:

Get out the bread --> open the bread package --> take out two slices of the bread --> get out a knife --> etc.
---------

Queue = waiting line (or a process by which people are kept in line/waiting). Pronounced "Q" (the letter).

CQI = Continuous Quality Improvement (same, really, as TQM)

Marginal Cost = the cost of producing one more product

Marginal Revenue = the revenue from selling one more product

Marginal Profit = MR - MC

the big accounting equation:

Assets = Liabilities + Owners' Equity (A = L + OE)
