What are the characteristics of a good leader? Give reasons and examples to support your response.

In my view, there are many characteristics of a good leader. The leader is a very important part of the success for any community. If a community has a good leader then definitely it will find success. Leader plays a very important role to cross the fire of the life. Most of the people do not have the leadership quality. A leader phase many types of tensions in their work. That’s why many people do not want to take the burden of that.

The most important quality of a leader is, a leader should be honest. If he does their work honestly then people believe him otherwise not and remember him after the death also. In our world there are many honest leaders and they all are hero for us. Mahatma Gandhi is the hero of India and Abraham Lincoln is the hero of the United State. A good leader should have the confidence in their work. Whatever, the leader wants to do they should do with confidence. Confidence is the most important key of the success. Abraham Lincoln had a lot of confidence therefore, he had found success to end the slavery. Mahatma Gandhi had a lot of confidence in there works so India got the freedom without war.

A good leader always thinks about the progress of their team and gives every thing for success of the team. Like Abraham Lincoln and Mahatma Gandhi they both have given their life for success of the country. A good leader should have the quality of speaking as well. If leader has the quality of speaking then they can convince the crowed and then people can believe them. First time, Abraham Lincoln convinces the cowed with the help of one of his famous speech of career. With the help of speaking quality leader can make their good image. A good leader should never get aggressive. A leader should tell their thoughts in a very cool manner and never get ready for fighting. If leader can explain their views coolly then every body will take interest and ready to follow things what the leader wants. A leader should not be a short temper. Many time many people against the leader. At that time a good leader never losses their mind and self control. Like Mahatma Gandhi is a cool and short temper leader. He never liked fight. If a person wants to be a good leader, should have all these qualities.
