An automobile manufacturer is considering your community and the neighboring community as possible sites for a new factory. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of building the factory in each community. Use specific details and examples in your essay.


When having a factory in a certain town, would be helpful to the community, but there would be disadvantages and advantages of it. Let us go first to the advantages, having a factory in certain town would improve the people living condition, because they would needed human resources to operate the factory, and of course they would hire people living in that town, and also the factory will pay taxes and it will increase the town income, and when a town would have enough income, they could improve it, making the town beautiful or any projects that imposed by government officials would take in to action, another thing is that if they put up a slippers factory, for example there would be a chance for that factory to be an educational place for field trips, for the students to be aware how this things are made, and time goes by it will be a city and more people would benefit it. But all of these will have disadvantages, there would be air and water pollution, because the air coming out from the factory is polluted because of certain chemicals being used and also they would throw all those waste materials, and more people would increase the pollution, and this will lead to certain illnesses. In my opinion having a factory in the town would do good to people, and also before you can put up a factory there is a certain rules and regulation to follow and you have to ask for a permit first to the town officials and before they signed it the factory should pass first the standard, and when the factory is not following the rules and regulation, and people would complain, anytime that factory will be closed.

Another thing is that if they put up a slipper/SHOE?? factory, for example there would be a chance for that factory to be an educational place for field trips, for the students to be aware how this things are made, and time goes by it will be a city and more people would benefit FROM it. But all of these FACTORS will have disadvantages.
