Hi, could you please take a look at the sentence below and tell me if it sounds good. In my opinion, it should read 'an excellent command'...

We have excellent command of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax, as well as the ability to edit content for style, clarity, and flow.

Hi Torsten,

I agree although it has become almost fashionable at least in the UK to omit the article when the noun is qualified. You often hear here things like: That's very good job, It's not easy task and so on.

Alan, I agree, ommiting the article in the above sentence sounds awful, at least to me it does. In some other topics here at the site I have read a solution for such cases that sounds like "It?s no easy task" or "It?s no good/bad/......" Anyroad it, too, doesn?t sound pretty well. Is it slangy too?
