Hi Torsten,
Over the last five years I've probably clicked more than most people have had hot dinners!

I can't find an expression as good as Alan's, but here's my lame try:
I click a lot, though surely not as much as there are grains of sand on Earth.
PS: Have you ever asked yourselves how all this clicking (on computer mice, mobile phones, remote controls, etc.) might change the shape of our fingers in a few decades (or generations, maybe)? |

I've recently stumbled upon a web-page, where there was a program that could record all your mouse clicks, putting various size/shape/color dots on the invisible picture. So, each evening you could check your activity throughout the day, and the places on the screen that "attracted" (or distracted? ;)) you most!
about clicking on mobile phones - i try not to click too much, because it is a rather tough business! _________________ my game is fair play |

considering pure 10 hours computer-related work per day, you click poor mouse 2 times each second!!!
Man, I suggest that you change that job... _________________ my game is fair play |

. Ahhh... That's more like it. Much more precise.
Now, could you explain in detail how one performs a 0.2 click? . _________________ "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." ~ Abraham Lincoln |

by "each day" I mean "per day" -- 'tis an average.
and it's probably more like 734.32 times per day, come to think of it. hehe _________________ Billie Jean is not my lover. Hee. |

...hence the 50K-plus figure in my initial post.
It's almost uncountable. I made it an exact number, in that fashion, to be whimsical. _________________ Billie Jean is not my lover. Hee. |

Hi Tom, this conversation reminds me that you work as an auditor, right? But you also mentioned that you are a journalist and I must admit that in your forum posts you don't sound like a typical auditor at all. Now, please don't ask me how I know what a 'typical auditor' should sound like. Anyway, could you please refresh my memory and tell me why you and how you went into journalism? I remember you telling us something about your writing background but you do it again, new ideas might emerge. To come to the point: What do you like about writing and how often to you write articles and where are they published?
