How many times do you click per day?

Good morning everybody,

Have you ever asked yourself how often you click on your computer mouse per day? This might be a silly question but then again, wouldn't it be interesting to have some click stats of your own? As for me, I guess I click a couple of hundred times or maybe it's a couple of thousand times?

How 'clicky' a person are you?

I can't find an expression as good as Alan's, but here's my lame try:

I click a lot, though surely not as much as there are grains of sand on Earth.

PS: Have you ever asked yourselves how all this clicking (on computer mice, mobile phones, remote controls, etc.) might change the shape of our fingers in a few decades (or generations, maybe)?

I've recently stumbled upon a web-page, where there was a program that could record all your mouse clicks, putting various size/shape/color dots on the invisible picture. So, each evening you could check your activity throughout the day, and the places on the screen that "attracted" (or distracted? ;)) you most!

about clicking on mobile phones - i try not to click too much, because it is a rather tough business!

by "each day" I mean "per day" -- 'tis an average.

and it's probably more like 734.32 times per day, come to think of it. hehe

Hi Tom, this conversation reminds me that you work as an auditor, right? But you also mentioned that you are a journalist and I must admit that in your forum posts you don't sound like a typical auditor at all. Now, please don't ask me how I know what a 'typical auditor' should sound like. Anyway, could you please refresh my memory and tell me why you and how you went into journalism? I remember you telling us something about your writing background but you do it again, new ideas might emerge. To come to the point: What do you like about writing and how often to you write articles and where are they published?
