10 days for GRE®

hello .. i need your help, as i have only 10 days left for GRE, i have gone through with princeton vocabulary (525 words) and barrons maths practice questions, what should i do more for geeting more that 1000 or as much i can get...pease help me..

Hi abhinay, what areas of the GRE do you think you should concentrate on during your preparation program? Do you have a good book on how to handle stress situations? Given the fact that you only have 10 left until the exam, it's probably good to read some articles on how to sit an exam. Let's see what the other forum members have to say...

Hey Abhinay,

I just sent you an e-mail. It sounds to me, from your PM, that you're primarily interested in vocab help.

You should check out the Barrons vocab list. The Priceton list is good, but, you'll want to use multiple sources.

And, just for the heck of it, I e-mailed you a personally-made list of the very trickiest GRE words that I encountered most frequently on my practice tests (and the test day itself). I can't speak to the quality of the list beyond my own personal experiences. But, by crafting and relying on this list during the two weeks leading up to the exam, I managed to score in the 98th percentile on the Verbal section. (And, no doubt, it helped me achieve a 6/6 on the Writing section.)

I am appearing for GRE on sep 14 2008 , i gave a GRE POWERPREP exams and my score was

i guess this comment will be useless as your 10 days are over. but generally, if you have limited time then one has to concentrante on strategies rather than stuffing words. i would recommend the princeton review's strategies for cracking the verbal part. i followed them and scored 470 (that is enough for my cs ph.d. application with long list of publications).
