i'm asking, because on the recent Milkyway Security Congress the Intergalactic Warfare Development Center signed the petition, according to which the Earth should not be involved in battles of any kind, until humans develop the Gravinuclear Transpogehydrators of 3rd kind.
I am not sure if we are going to get some till 2066...

the closest planet (we can see, anyway) that could possibly support life (perhaps human-like) is something like 50 light years away.
