HI,
I agree with this that learning from experience is better than learning from books. There are many reasons. For instance, people read many books on married life, watch many movies and come across many families but with all THESE aspects people can get only an idea. But actual experiences start after getting married. People understand life after marriage. All thIS learning cannot come from books. Books are also important for learning. We cannot deny the IMPORTANCE OF books. Without books we cannot get confidence to do any thing. For confidence books are very important.
Many people like to visit places outside their home town. This habit sometimes comes FROM reading books. In books pictures attract people to visit places. But actually it is very difficult to visit outside places. Sometimes people face difficult situations. With books people cannot manage tough situations. All these learnings come from experiences. People feel great after managing all these situations. If people want to get education then they should read books for success. With experience only people cannot become educated. But with the help of experience people can decide which book is good or bad.
Now the world is based on computers. If people want to learn computer skills then they can start with books. For computer skills learning, books only give an idea. If people really want to learn ABOUT COMPUTERS then they will have to use the computer. Otherwise I IS JUST THEORY.
The most important example of learning from experience is to learn a new language. We cannot learn a new language only from books. Books only give an idea of usage. Once people start speaking and writing then they learn from experience of making mistakes. This is impossible only from books.
Whether people learn from books or experiences, THE learning period is always a difficult period.
