It occurred to me that I have signed up with dozens of Internet forums but I seem to be using only very few of them. There is one forum I often post questions on and ask for advice and a couple of others which I frequently visit to read through the threads. What about you, how many forums are you using actively and how many forums have you signed up with?

Cheers,
Torsten

Yes, that is true about me too. I've signed up with a lot of internet forums but I end up being active with just a few. I often visit www.5steps2ielts.com, www.english-test.net/forum and www.usingenglish.com.

Hi Torsten

I'm by far the most active in this forum, but I also read and post answers to questions at englishforums.com and usingenglish.com and occasionally at eslcafe.com.

Up until about a year ago I was a constant question-asker/advice-seeker in various German house-building forums. I doubt they've forgotten me (or my builder) yet even though I don't post questions anymore. Rolling Eyes

Hi Pamela

Just a little reminder: 'a great deal of' should be used with uncountable (singular) nouns. Wink

I bloviate at the following:

- this site

- fanssportsboard.com

Occasionally I'll make a comment at cbs.sportsline.com or espn.com, usually in response to an article.

This is, by far, my favourite site. Yet I occasionally visit other English forums mentioned in this thread and am also a (sporadic) member of the WordReference Forums.
