Could you please tell me if both of the following expressions are correct?

1- As far as the sentence, I think it's OK.
2- As far as the sentence is concerned, I think it's OK.

I am happier with number 2. I think as far as the sentence is too vague. It's an unfinished statement and prompts the question: As far as as what?
