Hi Tamara
Your sentence refers back to something previously said. So, if "their best" has been offered, given or mentioned to you, then your rewording "... no less than their best" sounds just right. Or you could just think of it as "... no less than that." :D

It seems you’re right :) The previous 5 sentences can be (generally…) understood as describing some ‘dream’ conditions.

Another question, by the way: Can the above phrase (‘... I deserved no less.’) be also used in English to refer to some 'bad' conditions? Punishment, for example. :roll:
