Hi

I was just doing this test on "Homophones", when it struck me that they were not homophones!!! Shocked

Hi Tom

No, not all of the words are homophones. But there are homophones in every question and you also have to know how to pronounce all of the words to know whether or not they're homophones. Have you been able to pick out all of the homophones? Very Happy

Amy

Edit I:

Oh, I see. You mean sentence 2 specifically. Desert (noun) and dessert are two words that often end up misspelled. Laughing

Edit II:
See next post for desert as a verb. Wink

.
I take my original edit back. The verb desert is a homophone of dessert. They are pronounced exactly the same way.
