Hi Jamie,

How have been getting along with your book, have you finished it?

Hi Jamie,

I've had too many things in the way. I've got about three books started, but life stops me from finishing them.

Hi Jamie,

I know this type of challenge all too well. Last August I bought a notebook and started drafting up a book I have planned to write for several years. Since then I have been putting off the actual process of writing. But a couple of weeks ago I started to write and since then I have written a few hundred words almost every day. So I guess the trick is to take small steps on a regular basis.

Have you experienced the same or do see the situation differently?

That's part of the trick, but part of what slows me down is fear of negotiating the big, bad world of publishing, and figuring out how to get the book out to the public without cheating myself. A man who has been through the whole thing and made all the mistakes has explained the way that turned out to be the best for him, but the formula may not work for me, for a number of reasons.

I'm in the process of writing a short story. I'm on page 11. I'm nearing the end and I don't know how to end the darn thing.

It's about a pedant whose vocation is in elementary education. He lives in northern Wisconsin.

I've provisionally titled it "The Grammar Nazi" though I doubt the name will stick.

Hi Tom,

How is Mr. Bradleigh Chester-Nottinghamshire doing, is he still the Grammar King of Lakeland or has the grammar police arrested him?
