This is from REA PSAT pg. 44 # 13.
An intriguing habit many hawks have is bringing a fresh green branch daily to liine the nest during the season in which they are mating and rearing their young. No error.

can anyone explain why daily is misplaced?

Thanks
Myc

Adverbs of time, like 'daily' in your sentence, can also be placed at the end of a clause or sentence.

The modal verb 'can' expresses possibility, not obligation. Adverbs of time or frequency can be placed at the end of a sentence (usually for emphasis), but they don't have to.

Hi myc

Does the REA PSAT say where they think 'daily' should be placed in the sentence? Putting daily at the end of the sentence isn't really an option in this case.
