Hi

These days doctors seems to be attaching a lot of importance to walks, and specially if they are brisk!

Do you believe that walks can help reduce weight? Do you go a little walking everyday? Is your walk brisk?

My walking is always pretty brisk. On various days I take walks that are at least four miles long (6.5 km), often seven or eight miles long, but I alternate this with other types of exercise, such as weight training at the gym or else aikido.

No amount of exercise helps a person lose weight if he continues to eat too much and eats the wrong things.

Regular exercise makes people more productive and clear-headed, although many people would argue that I'm not clear-headed. I do know that when I exercise and train a lot, I get more work done in the hours I have left than I do if I don't exercise.
