. Not as such, Mohammad. Grammar is tested as an integral part of the reading and writing sections; students exhibit their understanding of grammar and structure in the course of answering the questions and writing their essays. . _________________ Native English teacher at Mister Micawber's |

Hey I know I am posting this reply much after the original post, but yes you do need to display your knowledge of Grammar in IELTS. I found some interesting tests on wiziq.com a website I use for teaching. Check out some IELTS Grammar Practice tests and you'll see how useful Grammar is. |

Hi,
As you are singing the praises of correct grammar: '...long after' not '...much after'. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

Thanks Beeesneees, For the first time on a forum, I have seen others- including you, pointing out mistakes of members who are the least interested in your feedback. I have contributed information for helping out M1Mohammad. If you are so inclined to 'help' others, mend your ways 'dears!' |

Hi Namrarta,
I had already noticed that you got a little irate when others pointed out your errors. You are setting yourself up as an expert teacher who can help others, yet you are making glaring errors yourself. You may not be interested in this fact, but our other users, who may not recognise your mistakes for what they are, might follow your example. We all make mistakes every so often. That's life. However, most of the users on this forum -- including the moderators -- are also perfectly willing to accept corrections where necessary. There is no shame in having your work corrected. It's part of the learning process.
By the way, you mean 'who are not in the least interested in your feedback'. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |
