What are the characteristics of a good teacher? Use reasons and examples to support your response.

all of us have had teachers and have many memorabilia from their class. they have learned many things to us.Now I want to express some experiences that I have had with my teachers . I will conclude the characteristics of a good teacher from them.

When I was 11 years old our teacher was smoking cigarette in the class.I think that this manner is not suitable for a teacher Because in most times teachers manner is a pattern for their students.

Second issue that I am interested to point out is punishment. Some times punishment of students by their teachers is inevitable but I dont believe to physical punishment. I think that physical punishment has many bad results for students future personality.

I have seen many physical punishments by teachers when I was between 13 and 16. Those were pathetic and I dont like to see them again.

Good teachers treat with their students politely. They always have expended information about what they want to teach. They also teach many things rather than the lessons of books. They teach many ways for their students when they confront with problems in their life.

All in all good teachers make good peoples.
