Some people say that the Internet provides people with a lot of valuable information. Others think access so much information creates problems. Which view do you agree with? Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.


Internet has an important role in today’s rapid developing technology. In my opinion, Internet is full of source information of wide variety of topics and very useful for today’s social condition. Hovewer, through the internet connection, people can infected by malicious viruses or can get other illegal information especially for children such as web sites publicizing graceless, internet provides us wide range of opportunity such as to increase knowledge, to become familiar with other countries culture or history, to get information around the world, and also to have friends from other countries.

First of all, by using the internet, we have a chance to increase our knowledge and to find out the information we haven’t heard yet. For example, in my profession as a computer programmer, I usually access to the web sites related to software programming, and they help me to find more suitable methods for solving difficulty in programming, to get information about new tools introduced in programming languages and to share the knowledge with other programmers around the world. I found from my experience using internet that the web sites which including sample source code of programming, tutorials related to that topics, and forum of programmers are very useful for programmers especially for rookies in programming.

Second, reading web sites of daily news gives us information around the world. Sometimes because of overwork, I miss from the news what are getting around the world. But internet gives me a chance to get information not only in the past but also in recent times. Also we can find enough information about other countries from the web sites related to that country. For example, let’s assume that you are planning to travel the country you have never been there and you don’t know about that countries climate, tradition, life styles etc. In this case, using the web sites of tour companies of that country will give enough information about their country.

On the other hand, internet can give us a fun. By using chat through the internet gives us a fun, and it sometimes becomes useful relax. Through the chat we can have friends of different countries. It is useful for improving english language skills in communication during chatting with friends of other countries.

In conclusion, internet opens for us more chances to communicate with outside. It is hard to assume the today’s technology development without internet connection. That’s why I think, internet is a source of valuable information.
