Ok guys! could you help me out with this...

A friend of mine has written me an e-mail which says that now he works for a new company. The thing is that he wrote me a couple of words that for me sounds weird. He wrote, "my boss gets contracts of printer companies." I am not sure about "printer companies", is that ok? Because for me it would be "printing companies", but well I don't know! So please help me...

Thank you!

.
Printing companies (or printers) would, I suppose print books, brochures, etc-- and printer companies would make printing machines. Which does your friend work for?
