. I agree that "further better" is not OK.
Here is another alternative: I want it further improved.

Now please tell me if the following sound OK to you?
1- I want the table further back. 2- Move further ahead. 3- Move it further forward. 4- Hang this painting lowest. 5- Hang this painting highest. 6- Hang this painting the lowest.
