i'd say Intensify your current vocab and opt for a better understanding of words because the meaning of a word can vary dpending upon the situation and sometimes these variations are so vast that the entire root meaning of the word changes |

| Work on your skimming ability. I manage to finish reading the passage thoroughly yet fast, and answering the shorter questions becomes a breeze, leaving you some time to puzzle over the tougher ones. ( I got an 800 ) |

| actually those problems are TOUGH, my opinion is that you look for the answers instead of the passage, use common sense.(thats prob not enough for 750+ but i mean it helps me at least cuz i dont get anything those passages say) |

| The guide on guideparadise.com helped me raise my critical reading score substantially. CR is the hardest section in my opinion. Memorizing SAT words only goes so far. |

klezma, once again, stop spamming your pay-for-info site. Who in their right mind would buy from it when the header of the page isn't even spelled correctly?
thegodofrice, if you're not too big on reading poetry or old english literature, those passages will simply be a crapshoot. Normally you won't have one like that though. Honestly your best bet is to underline important words that you DO know and try to create some type of relationship between them. |

| Try TutorFox.com's SAT guide if you want to improve your scores. I improved 250+ overall and over 100 pts on the critical reading section...I only paid $ 10 for the guide and I think they still offer it for the same price so make sure to check it out. It can be found at http://www.tutorfox.com/satguide.html |
