Hi

Could you please tell me if the following sentence is grammatically correct and natural?

1- I made sure that the medicine went down her throat. (Said by a nurse whose patient always spat it after she had left the room)

In the given situation, it sounds fine, Tom. You might also say "I made sure she swallowed the medicine."

But, of course, an unconscious person wouldn't be able to swallow the medicine, so someone would have to get the medicine to pour down her throat without any cooperation from her.

Tom's mention of spitting the medicine out after the nurse left the room led me to assume the patient was alert and actively planning. By the way, can you safely pour something down an unconscious person's throat?

Sure, if "down .. throat" is a euphemism for "into the IV-fed blood vessel".

Well..."the medicine went down her throat" seems very logical, even the patients are unconscious, i saw those scenes before.Of course, in the movies only, hehe...
