In the series of W.C. friends, there is a part of the theme that I don't get. Here it is: my love life is D.O.A.
I've looked up this acronym and still don't dig it.
D.O.A. =dead on arrival?

Well,

Seems like they indeed are drawing an analogy between an item that is dead on arrival and a person's love life.
