Hi, could you please help me come up with sample sentences that show how the verb 'abash' is used? BNC doesn't seem to find much on that verb.

A synonym is "to embarrass".

So:

probably the most commonly used form of "abash" is "unabashedly":

The couple unabashedly made out in the school hallway.
