Hi,
'Temporary' means only lasting for a short time.

| I would rather say "temporary" means lasting only for a limited period of time. |

You say what you like as long as you let me say what I like!

Hi, Alan
Why can't I say don't worry I'm sure it's only temporarily ? _________________ Slow but sure. |

Hi Geo,
This is a difference between adjective (temporary) and adverb (temporarily).
Look at these sentences:
At the moment she has a temporary (adjective) job as a clerk until she can find a permanent job.
At the moment she is working temporarily (adverb) as a clerk until she finds permanent job.
Hope that works for you.
