Is war really a joke? #46 (permalink) Tue Mar 20, 2007 23:15 pm   Is war really a joke?

Hi Bennie

Finally someone with a very rounded and good attitude.
I am annoyed by the posts that think it is ok to insult and assume making an ass of u and me.
We could all learn from a bit more tolerance.

Do not throw stones in glass houses is something that many people could learn from (myself included).

Also it does not help that often the ones expressing strong opinions have a poor command of English that makes the view come across harsher.

"the only people who have seen the end of war are the dead"

or something like that, Plato
