My dear friends,

This is just a quick note to let you know that the deed is done: Dell Ireland has come through and delivered an Inspiron and you know what, I'm just tickled pink! It's a fantastic piece of technology that will do an excellent job keeping me connected to all of you where ever I might travel. So, thanks a lot to all of you for sharing your experiences and giving me pointers as to what model might be best for me. Also, my T-Mobile friends sent me a Web'n Walk Box and it's a nifty little gadget but it doesn't run on Vista. I've called them and we agreed to find a solution on Monday. By the way, Vista is excellent -- it has a lot of cool features. For example, it automatically picks up on any HotSpots/WLAN access points and connects you to them with just a few clicks!

Are you typing on your dell??? Razz

Yes, off and on. Still switching between my two old machines and the Dell the latter clearly being my favourite now. The keyboard is very easy to handle and the overall experience is excellent. What about you, what machine are you currently using?

Anyone using a laptop or notebook? Tue Mar 11, 2008 14:27 pm  Anyone using a laptop or notebook?

Hi everyone,

Now it's me who's after a new laptop. This thread's a year old now, and as fast as technology's frantic development goes, there may be a few new nifty little gadgets out there. Like this one, maybe. But before investing this type of money (in Europe you pay the same amount in Euro), I'd really appreciate a few more insghtful views than my own.

Any suggestions?

For those specs, I think it'll be a good buy.
