Hi Tom I'd go for Ex.I get up early because I love morning. As for me, I use 'mornings' only as an adverb but not a noun.
I don't know if it's possible to use 'mornings' in a sense of 'every morning (noun).' I've never come across the very usage. |

Hi Tom
I might say either one. To me "mornings" is just the plural form of a noun in the second sentence. You might also hear people say "I love the morning."

| Many thanks, Amy!I've never met 'mornings' used as a plural form( that is what I exactly meant by 'every morning') of the noun 'morning'. I agree that my wording was ambiguous. So, is it a norm to say 'mornings' used as a noun? |

Pamela, by the way, in Russian it’s also quite 'normal' (usual) to say 'I love eveningS.’ (Podmoskovnye Vechera, in particular :)), but rather unusual (understandable, though) to say 'I like morningS'. (Personally, I might say that. :)) _________________ It’s impossible to learn swimming without entering the water… |

Hi Pamela
I'm not sure if I'm interpreting your question correctly, but, yes, mornings is easily used as a plural noun:
How are your weekday mornings different from weekend mornings? We met on two different mornings last week. (= on two different days in the morning)

Hi Amy, At least, in two other languages I speak it's also quite normal to say 'two mornings' and etc. but incorrect to say 'mornings' as a separate word when it's not modified by.. :) . |

Hi Pamela,
I don't actualy see a big problem in saying in Russian (say, looking out the window) 'Я люблю (такие) утра, как это' (I love morningS like this), or Я люблю (такие) утра, когда не надо рано вставать (I like morningS when there is no need to get up early). Or 'I like mornings and hate evenings' (even though it is not true for me :)). _________________ It’s impossible to learn swimming without entering the water… |

Hi Tamara, Yes, it's not a big problem. But saying 'я люблю утра'(especially in Tom's sentence) is rather unusual(unnatural) to me. :D |
