you could say either:
This is the third day/week I've been doing this.
or:
I've been doing this for three days/weeks (now). |

This - this... You've replaced my today by the second this, does it actually sound better? _________________ It’s impossible to learn swimming without entering the water… |

'Today' is the third day' sounds a bit repetitive, but it's okay otherwise (I know I repeat 'this' in my sentence, but I'd replace the second one by the actual activity). Now, I wouldn't say 'today is the third week' (a mathematical question, mainly), though it's just my opinion. |

For me, "I have been doing it for the last three days today." is the best solution. |

Thank you for the explanation.

You are right...
I agree, 'Today is the week' certainly would be a language violence. ('Today is The Day' or 'Today is Friday' seem to be a bit more acceptable, though. :) ) _________________ It’s impossible to learn swimming without entering the water… |

| Differ in meaning: Suffocate, Strangle, Throttle, Smother, Asphyxiate | 'it is belonged' vs. 'it belongs to'? |
