I am said to be hardcore when it comes to training, teaching. I have bserved teachers who have a motherly touch. But my fuse can be lit with the right matches. I hate slackers and I sometimes have upset people with my bluntness. I also do not suffer fools or ingnoramuses lightly. Vanity (hairstyles) just is not worth my comment. If I say sth is interesting then people who know me know I am in a situation where I can not tell the truth or can not be bothered to. _________________ Please meet Stewart Tunncilff |

Good question, Alan! Speaking my mind puts me in trouble occasionally, but I do not want to change this character because I feel as myself when I tell people what I think. At the same time, I can stop myself from speaking when need be... _________________ Learning is a sacred engagement. |

Hi,
Well, that person is probably must be as me 'rough' as others think, because nobody wants to hear truth about themselves...that's why I always say things straight, on purpose,of course:) and I seek the same from them (not always the result turn out well) I think, bitter truth is better than sweet lies:)) _________________ Either nothing is truth, or the truth is unknown to us... |

| I agree with Tamara but I also think that how we deliver the opinion matters too. But I have a habit of saying no comment! |

| As the case may be, I can act in different ways. If I were asked by a person I am not very intimate with, I would probably go into raptures(albeit she looked really unattractive) at her appearance saying:' You look terrific! Otherwise it would be unethical of me to tell the truth.('white lie' is appropriate in the present state of affairs). It stands to reason, when my friends and my family are eager to know my subjective opinion about this hairdo, that attire and etc, I always answer truthfully at the same time making an effort not to cause any grievances. I also keep in mind that ‘tastes differ’ and try not to go too far with foisting my tastes on my surroundings. |

Hi,
Are you the sort of person who speaks their mind? If someone asks you what you think about say their new hairstyle, new decor, new car or whatever and inwardly you think it's terrible, do you lie and say: It's lovely ? Or do you sit on the fence and say: It's unusual, certainly? Or do you come straight out with what you really think and say: It's awful ?

Hi!
I?m a bit confused. As much as I appreciate the saying :"sit on the fence" I wonder what?s the correct meaning. Does it mean you just dread to tell your honest opinion or does it mean that you don?t have any opinion/ you don?t know how to judge/evaluate a situation? |
