Hi Sultano,
That is what I've found in the Internet
token woman Maybe, that helps a bit.

catch my drift

to be blissfully ignorant means that a person is unaware of anything he should (know)be aware of.

Token women means a small number of women who are represented in some group, not because of their value to the group, but because the people forming the group are somehow obligated to have women represented.

Blissfully ignorant means that someone is very happy, because he is unaware of the reality of some situation. If he knew all the details, he would be unhappy or angry.

"Do you catch my drift?" means "Do you understand what I'm talking about?"

Thanks for your definition of 'token woman', Jamie(k). At first, I thought it had something to do with a symbolic figure. This somehow corresponds to what you have explained, doesn't it?

Yes, I often meet this phrase in a context when someone is unaware of the trouble, misfortune.

Hi Sultano,
When someone's judgement is clouded by anything-- he is unable to perceive something or to give the objective estimation of things

Am I right, Jamie(K)?

Yes, but he also has a lot of enthusiasm for what he's doing, or is very happy, because he has no idea that he's naive.
