Hi Mohammad,

What countries are the recipients on your list from? I take it they gave you their phone numbers as you mentioned earlier this year? Are you using the Internet to offer your service? Also, could you please tell us more about the technical side of your project? How exactly do you send your SMS?

Thanks a lot,
Torsten

Hello Torsten,

At the moment the recipients are from Iran and yes they give their cell phone numbers to me.

Well I send messages to members by the help of a company in Iran. The company offers some services including horoscope, puzzle, news headlines, gold price, share prices, SMS Box, SMS Chat, sending & receiving e-mails, sending messages to Yahoo Messenger, sending Yahoo Messenger offlines to cell phone, and special GROUP service. All its services are offered through SMS.

You may ask what a group service is! It is somehow like Yahoo Groups. Everyone can create a new one, recruit members, and send messages to them. That’s what I’m doing now. The company software receives my msgs first and then sends them to all my group members.

That software also provides an environment for sending international SMS and of course covers a system for delivering report.

Have you ever had such plans in your mind? Please let me know.

Take care,
Mohammad

I am also planning to start such service, so i had some questions in mind.

1. you send words or idioms and in exactly which form?
2. do u charge for this service, if yes how much ?
3. Hows is the response for your service?

I have started this service for some five people now, and i want to commercialize it. So i wanted to know your model.

Hello jitendra,
Well I send words, idioms, proverbs, key sentences, and also grammar tips.

The charge for this service is about (a little more than) two times of each message price and the fact is that the Iranian students like to learn English very much. I have no problem with persuading them. They want to review English materials on their cells.

More questions? Feel free to contact me either on the phone or at this forum.

Regards.
Mohammad
