Hi. This is my first try of essay writing. Would be happy if somebody correct my mistakes. What is the essential length (in chars or in words) of iBT TOEFL test? Thank you.
You have enough money to purchase either a house or a business. Which would you choose to buy? Give specific reasons to explain your choice.
What about me, if I had this choice, I wouldn’t wonder for a moment. For me there is just one correct choice – to buy the flat or even house. Let’s consider both cases. By starting your own business you are getting a lot of risks like opponents competition, taxes, price quotation. To be successful businessman it is not enough to know the law and how to buy and how to sale. In this case you have to be perfect negotiator, vigorous personality, have character. If the matter concerns foreign business, you have to speak fluently foreign language. The business can take all your free time and you will meet to your relatives and friends much rarely. But unfortunately in my opinion all these aspects are not enough for further money increase. Another essential quality is luck. Only in that case your business will make you a profit. Absolutely opposite situation with realty. In my country there is a very popular proverb that “realty is never becomes cheaper”. If you have bought your own apartment, you can be completely confident: your money are in perfect security. It is even more safe and effective way to save and increase your savings than bank deposits. And at the same time you don’t have to do anything, may be just pay rent for water-supply and electricity. Inflation isn’t a problem as well. Just wait and become reach. By having a lot of free square meters, it is profitable to grant it on lease and get additional profits. In a nutshell, there is no such reliable investment of money as realty purchase.

Hi,
What about me, if I had this choice? I wouldn’t HESITATE for a moment. For me there is just one correct choice – to buy the flat or even house. Let’s consider both cases. By starting your own business you are FACING a lot of risks like opponents, competition, taxes, price quotation. To be A successful businessman it is not enough to know the law and how to buy and how to SELL. In this case you have to be A perfect negotiator, A vigorous personality AND have character. If the matter concerns foreign business, you have to speak A foreign language FLUENTLY. The business can take all your free time and you will meet your relatives and friends MORE rarely/LESS OFTEN. But unfortunately in my opinion all these aspects are not enough for further INCREASE IN money . Another essential quality is luck. Only in that case WILL your business make you a profit. IT IS AN Absolutely opposite situation with REAL ESTATE. In my country there is a very popular proverb that “REAL ESTATE never becomes cheaper”. If you have bought your own apartment, you can be completely confident: your money IS in perfect security. It is even A safeR and MORE effective way to save and increase your savings than bank deposits. And at the same time you don’t have to do anything, may be just pay rent for water-supply and electricity. Inflation isn’t a problem as well. Just wait and become RICH. Hi Allan,
I'm new here and I've been trying to write essay on the same topic. Please kindly give any advice to me. Thanks a lot.
There are many ways to spending your money. The best way to spend it, of course by buying what you needed most first. Then comes another problem, people’s needs are difference from one to another. Some people might need clothes, while other doesn’t bother about it at all. That’s why how you spend your money will be depends on what is your needs.
If someone has to choose to spend their money on a house or a business, once again we must see the situation of that person himself. But no matter what, we must see from the basic needs first. Let’s assume that he don’t have any house. Then it would be so much better for him to spend the money on the house, since house is one of the basic needs besides foods and clothes. House is a place to live in, a place where he can feel secure and comfort. So, instead of having no exact place to live, it would be good for him to have his own house.
On the contrary, if he already owns a house, it would be nice for him to try to buy a business. When all the basic need is fulfill, he can start to think about something else to buy to increase his life quality. By spending money on business, he can also make that business as his occupation. Furthermore he can learn how to run on a business, and of course to gains more income.
From what have been presented above, we can conclude that people has different kind of needs, but no matter how, we must spending our money wisely. Make sure to fulfill your basic needs first before going for other things, just like the quote that says: “First thing first.” |
