Well by "drink" I'm going to assume you mean alcoholic drink.

(It's common in the US to automatically equate "drink" -- both verb and noun -- with an alcoholic drink or the drinking thereof.)

Ergo, I yield my favorite drink:

- Captain & Coke (Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum and Coca-Cola). If made properly, the taste has a definite hint of vanilla (to my palate, anyway).

Well now wait. Captain & Coke is my favorite when I just feel like a drink to calm the nerves/senses.

If I want to get tanked in a hurry, line up a couple of Long Island Iced Teas and I'll be in la-la land pretty soon. hehe

[I don't get tanked too much anymore... I left that behavior behind, mostly, in college (undergrad studies).]

The Captain & Coke recipe is self-sxplanatory -- vary the Coke-to-Captain ratio to match the alcohol content you desire. I'd start at two-to-one. IF you have a 12-oz. glass, fill it one-third full with Captain Morgan and top it off with ice and Coke. That would be a good starting point.

The above is a basic LIIT recipe.

Hi prezbucky,

Well, some people are teetotalers.

cool beans

hehe

My favorite soft drink is probably orange juice. Invariably there is someone in the office who is sick (got to save those 10 sick days for the vacation, after all...) and coughing, so I try to drink a can of orange juice each day to ward off their germs.

If you aren't a teetotaler, and you have a friend with a birthday coming up... buy or make this for him/her:

Three Wise Men shot

http://www.drinksmixer.com/drink5325.html

It is the worst-tasting shot I tried in my college days, and those bastards (friends) bought me a bunch of them on my birthday -- which means I tried a lot of different nasty ones. On weekends we usually just drank beer -- shots were for 'special' occasions.

Anyhow, it's good for a laugh. One shot won't do anyone in (for the evening), but this one will make the average person's face pucker-up in a major way. MAke sure your camera is ready, and have a towel and/or bucket ready. hehe

Ginger milk tea(no sugar).

Although I like tea in general but to me this one tops them all.

Ginger can be revolting to some (closest example would be my roommate) but give it a try.You might like it.

My motto is 'You shouldn't decide against it before you've even tried it'(within reason, of course Cool ).

I like your motto.

However, I will perpetually prohibit things such as worms, cockroaches, and other insects from entering my GI tract.

A person has to draw the line somewhere.

I thought sex on the beach was a dessert, made by layers of peaches, cream and sponge cake.

Is it alcoholic?Care to explain? Confused

Apparently, it's also a drink (that's why I didn't quite get Che's image at first -- well, not the right one, as it turned out!). Recipes vary, but the most common ingredients seem to be vodka, schnaps and different kinds of fruit juices:

That dessert is too yummy, Nina! If it itsn't called 'sex on the beach', well... it should at least have a similarly evocative name:

I prefer good quality tea to any drink... Good quality tea means tea leaves cultivated in Sri Lanka and packed in London...
