| By the time they're 12, most people from Scandinavia I've met are almost like native speakers of English. I doubt that that many need our help. |

In Eastern Europe I sat at a table where some middle-aged teaching colleagues were having a conversation about countries where the women are either extremely beautiful or extremely ugly, with no one between those extremes. The countries they discussed most in that regard were Sweden and England. |
