i don`t understand anything : question # 9 reads as follows
I keep my favorite ring ......... a large heavy metal safe at home.
(a) in (b) between (c) about (d) around
a "dresser" , all mentioned above isn`t listed -how comes : the question was changed ???
so i waste my time with failures - it`s not the only one - ( i checked question # 6 featuring "common english errors pt. one "I`m worried about her because she is eating more pills than usual" and receive at "check u`r score" that it is marked wrong : the right answer was "taken" , but thereupon i ticked "taking" and then it was correct - as far as i forward answering the questions i unfortunately have to access many mistakes underlined by computerised evaluation. So i agree definetely with Linda, confusing the students is very bad and what's more when it is used for educating people who haven't got a clue!
filing the defence from LINDA is just academic : " After a large number of posts, the fact remains that this forum is about clear and concise responses to students' questions " error : its absolutely unclear in several parts as many of the dict.cc forum users also figured out |

the "refurnished" is : correct sentence: I keep my favorite ring in a large heavy metal safe at home.
Correct answer: (a) in
Your answer was: correct
no "dressing" at all right now ! Linda , think about that fact its no opinion : they easyly switched the question as effectively as possible
itīs totally ridiculuos and amusing using this test system for a couple of days, starting from ground zero to a # 420 user score although i`ve got no clue at all regarding difficult grammar, writing, speaking and listening. I have to take a language test in UK for working there temporarily in my job as international forensic consultant and dental surgeon and i think ticking some multiple choice tests doesn`t help me on improving my english knowledges : so i have to change my strategy |
