Hi,

Are you a nitpicker? Do you worry about small details and fret if things aren't perfect? If you go into a room (not necessarily your own) and see that a picture isn't hanging straight, do you feel the irresistible urge to put it straight?

A

There are some things about which I fuss quite a bit, yes.

Hi Alan,

I don't consider myself to be a total nitpicker. In some(quite rare) cases my actions may be interpreted as that of a nitpicker. Wink The example you have illustrated vividly(neatly) reflects my feelings about the picture not hanging straight. In general, I like everything to be well arranged! Smile

I don't think I feel any urge but I just go straight correcting it. I do this especially when I'm near or at a friend's desk.I just realised this because somebody just asked me why I do it.

Does that count?As a nitpicker I mean.

Is it nitpicky to expect that puctuation and capitalization be used correctly in English tests? Is it nitpicky to expect English tests to be as free of typos as possible? Is it nitpicky to want to correct the factual information in a test sentence claiming (for example) that US Supreme Court consists of only eight judges? If so, then I guess I'm a nitpicker.
