Not receiving email notice on occasion

I have been very remiss in submitting this problem (it has been going on with me ever since I joined, I think), but--

Does anyone else suffer from occasional lapses in receiving email notice of posts to a thread to which one has contributed?

I don't get so many emails that I would inadvertantly delete one-- at least not as often as this omission occurs. Although it happens irregularly, it does continue to be a problem. And it makes me look as if I were ignoring the question. Is receipt of email notice linked in any way with log-in status? Or anything else I am not aware of?

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m having the same problem, which has been going on for quite a few weeks (months?) now.

Although I try to keep track of the answers to my posts by searching the forum, it occasionally happens that I miss some of them. Sometimes I stumble upon them by chance later and may find that quite a bit of conversation has been carried on 'behind my back', so to speak!

Many thanks for notifying of this problem. The strange thing is that I seem to be receiving all email notifications on new posts to threads I'm subscribed to. This means we have to investigate a little further...
By the way, have you received an email after I posted this response?

I got notice of nothing after Tom's post on this thread.

And the only reason I came looking for this thread was to add a further plea for assistance-- there are two other of today's threads that I received no notice of reponses to-- THIS ONE and THIS ONE.

I just went through my spam and my junk mail, but nothing in either from here, and there has never been in the past either.

PS: By the way, the notice of my posting new Advanced Tests has always come through as junk mail, even though I have tried to make it an 'approved sender'-- but I think that is an unrelated problem.

OK, I'll trust you on this, Slava. If I ever run into a missed thread again, I'll let you know. (In my case, I seldom browse the threads-- by and large, I just answer the unanswered ones-- so if I don't get notice, I never know it.)
