Dear Alan, please essay for your correction.
Thanks a lot.

The relationship between employers and employees in today's world is more professional than it was a few decades ago. Earlier, employees will be loyal to their respective employers if they used to get regular increments and promotions on a periodic basis. However, now the trend has changed completely. Employees are career oriented and they are keen to grow up in their respective fields.

Employees will work on their projects and bring fruitful results but the employers also have to take note of their achievements and reward them in the same manner if they intend to retain their employees.

Many employees look for a change in the job after three to four years. They also like to visualize their market rate. If they get a job with better benefits then they come and discuss the same with their employers. The latter may increase the salary of the staff or accept the resignation. If the employer agrees to increase the salary of the staff, then it may be because he may be an outstanding employee and he will have to find a replacement before relieving him. Certainly, by doing so, the employer will not have him in good books as he will not be reliable. In case the employer decides to say good bye to his employee then the staff should be prepared for such a thing and not tell him only to compromise with the situation.

Several employees will speak of other job offers only to ascertain to what extent employers will listen to their tunes. The decision to be in the job or quit will be the prime responsibility of the employees. He must know the pros and cons before plunging into the final decision. He has to be content but at the same time, he should have harmonious relationship with his current and prospective employer.

Most of the companies have management staff that will be in touch with staff on a constant basis to know the aspirations of the staff. Companies are keen to retain their staff as they have invested time and money with them. Those who realize that it is imperative to give some incentives to their staff are in a position to keep staff for a longer period.

To sum up, employees will keep on moving as and when they get responsible positions with good pay packets. Employers at the same time have to understand the requirements of the staff to retain them for a longer time. With small incentives and responsible positions, they can expect their staff to be in the company for a longer period and staff may be in the same company if they feel secure and have job satisfaction. Move or change from one company to another company will not stop altogether, however it could be steady so that management and staff both have win-win situation.

I totally agree. Employees once given incentives will be more motivated to work thus doubling productivity.
