My SAT test taken away

while i was taking the reading section i had my calculator out and it was on with numbers in it from my previous math section so the lady takes my test and tells me to go home cuz invalidation of test. i was wondering if i can still take the test later on or am i never aloud to take it again?

Call collegeboard and ask. I'm pretty sure you could take it again in the future.

in my opinion that is TOTALLLY BS. you should call collegeboard and scold them b/c there is nothing wrong that u were using the calculator for math section and then forgot to put it in your backpack(which you were supposed to by the way) and forgot to turn it off. you at least will be able to take it in the future, is just that it wont count for that time.

I don't think it's totallly BS...you're not supposed to have your calculator out on your desk during a reading section period.

well i mean if the proctor told the student to put away everything and clearly stated that calculators were not allowed, then it makes sense. but my proctor once did not say anything about calculators and when he saw 1 person w/ calculator on desk, he just told him to put it away no big deal.
